Apparently he's played in 17 league 2 games and scored 1 goal this season.

Almost Luke Williams-esque this from Calderwood

‘From the outside people might have thought we would win [against Orient] and lose on Boxing Day, if we can turn that around I don’t think we will have lost anything from what people think we could have gained,” he said.

Happy Christmas to you all.

3-1 to the Town in front of a 10,000 + crowd.

The roar could be heard in Poxford and Brizzell

Swindon are back !

A few views from their forum about the upcoming game.

1st return fixture of the season after we beat them fairly comfortably 1-0 at their place back in September with a poachers goal from Yates. We were far from our best in that game but still won. I remember Cambs had 3 of the slowest CB's I have ever seen, even Doyle was beating them for pace!

They seem to have reverted back to a 2 CB line up and getting some decent results.

They have won away games at Crewe, Colchester and Mansfield (4-0) and beaten Exeter at home 4-0, but have also been beaten by Walsall, Orient and Oldham.

Only Northampton have beaten them by a 2 goal margin in the league and only Orient have managed to score 3 goals against them, although Swansea put 6 past them in the LC.

Their leading scorer this season so far is famous singer/songwriter Sam Smith on loan to them from Capitol Records, they have scored 5 league goals so far plus 3 in the cups and will be the danger person up front for them with Ex Town player Marc Richards coming off the bench recently a few times but not starting very often. And other ex Town player Knoyle has been injured for the past few weeks.

Made your last paragraph more accurate & Mx Sam Smith friendly, we don’t want him triggered.
They aren’t male anymore.

Trains don't run on Boxing Day.  Maybe find a friendly Bristol-based Town fan with a car?

Thanks

Any idea how to find one of those ?

By walking around Hartcliffe & Withywood with a megaphone, announcing that you are a Town fan looking for the aforementioned lift

What about asking on Facebook? Perhaps even in that group...

Sing what you like during the game tomorrow but give Calderwood the hero’s welcome he deserves when he comes out.

I totally agree he should get a really warm welcome and it baffles me how he never had the opportunity to become Swindons manager over the years considering recent years we've had so many.

Ah, you’re right. I logged onto the NewsNow site and for some reason - probably because they are both CUFC - it came up under the Cambridge news section.

As you were.
