A bit of effort in the second half, went more direct which is what this game and pitch required. Mullin suited the ball being essentially a rubber ball bouncing all over the shop, so a good change. Then a fuckwit decides to give the ref a chance to get some cards out - to be fair, Dunne can count himself lucky as well, talking back so many times, he could easily have had a yellow before he got the one he did.
A shit end to a shit season it seems. Shame we didn't do the necessary back in December. Although you have to laugh a bit when you end a game with your left back and most creative midfielder in central defence.

So we're shit, looked a lost cause much of the time but how the fuck are we still in with a shot of play offs? Even now? Lincoln v Cov match comes massively into play. I really would love this season to die but even when we try to self capitulate, the league is somehow still giving us a bloody chance. It's a sign I tell theeeeeeeee! Yes, I missed the punch but I hope it was due to some total dick trying to be clever (feeling confident, had a few beers. Twat). It's not great but if it's because of it, the prick deserves it.  |

I think you can put those ideas of having a chance to one side. Too many teams above us, you can catch one or two if you are lucky, but don't have a solid enough foundation as a team to even look like winning 3 on the bounce. Even if we did, the teams above are too many with too many games in hand as well, they will get enough points.

It sounds like there is more fight off the field than on with these players.
