My 20/1 bet on France to win the tournament and Griezmann to be leading scorer is looking handy now. Allez les bleus!!

I put that on as well. Undecided on to cash out or not. It was a free £10 bet.

Germany are strong.

Unfortunately I did it with Ladbrokes as Bet 365 were only offering 16/1 and Ladbrokes have no cashout facility so its all or nowt! I think the semi against Germany is 50/50, tough to call.

I had 80/1 France and Payet... Could do with Griezmann getting a knock!

Indeed, that's because there isn't the pressure on France to perform like there is with England Wink

Just goes to show what a creative midfield can do
What, like the pressure of winning as the host nation?

Indeed, I thought the smiley would have confirmed that.

We always hear about the fact that England are under pressure due to the expectations of these tournaments, as if it's only England.

I would suggest France, Germany, Spain & Italy all have as much pressure as England (if not more) and have all managed to cope in recent years

I would just find it ironic if Wales got to the final (and even won it) with a team half full of English born players who would never get picked for England.

Would be another kick in the teeth for the overpaid proms donnas that represent England, and may (albeit unlikely) persuade the future England manager/coach that there are players worth picking outside of the top 6 teams

Definitely not. As I said before, the Welsh team and the country as a whole celebrated England losing like they'd won the tournament themselves. To me, Wales are to England what Oxford are to Swindon. If Oxford were in the Champions League final against Porto, would I be cheering them on because they are a fellow English team? Of course not. Why is this different?

I also quite like to see Ronaldo struggling too though. If both teams could lose humiliatingly, that would be ideal.

Of the 4 teams left, would like to see Wales win it, might act as a kick up the backside for the FA and the whole national team setup.

Equally won't lose any sleep if Wales go out tonight.

I'd love Wales to go all the way. Think Ramsey is a huge loss for them tonight though.
They'll be bang up for it so who knows.
