It was very noticable that the only two games off in the FL, were the two games that were both called off more than 24 hours before KO.

Well, for years our games got called off because a 20 yard strip of the pitch was frozen solid at the meerest hint of frost, not to mention some game being abandoned due to flood light failure!

And I just remembered - in the days of the old Shrivvy Road Stand, on more than one occasion games were called off because if winds of something stupid like over 3mph were forecast the stand was deemed to be unsafe in those circumstances.

We were virtually in Liverpool by the time the postponement came through. Had the weekend booked since August.  Lots of snow late Friday night on the Wirrell but had mostly gone by Saturday morning - which was much milder. Decided to go watch Fleetwood tonk Pox and had a cackling time with the locals who loved the fact we were enjoying their win as much as they were.
Town hats and scarves were worn once safely inside the ground, which is actually really nice with a great fans bar.

We found a STFC 50-50 draw ticket on us which we left on the windscreen of the Pox Jack FM car just to round their day off nicely.  Pox were shocking!
