Hope that being super fit isn’t a prerequisite for posting on this thread.
Anyway, being of a similar age & weight to our glorious leader (but taller, maybe a bit better looking, definitely with a lot less money) and bearing in mind his travails back in April, got me thinking about the need to improve aerobic fitness and maybe shift a few pounds as well. (Currently on a 16/8 intermittent fasting regime, like a very poor man’s Barry Scott if you like.)
Ended up ordering an indoor training bike. Took a couple of months to arrive.
Picked a beginner’s health plan on the app.
Got as far 3min 6sec on the first go. Had to get off. Thought I was going to die.
Did a bit better today.
Not sure if a diet coke and a pizza will help to replenish some of the essential life force that has been lost through the exercise. Will keep going. No pain, no gain and all that.
Keep up the good work as anything is better than nothing as we all get older. losing weight is a simple equation of eat less exercise more but discipline is the key and something many fail with
