Hope that being super fit isnít a prerequisite for posting on this thread.
Anyway, being of a similar age & weight to our glorious leader (but taller, maybe a bit better looking, definitely with a lot less money) and bearing in mind his travails back in April, got me thinking about the need to improve aerobic fitness and maybe shift a few pounds as well. (Currently on a 16/8 intermittent fasting regime, like a very poor manís Barry Scott if you like.)

Ended up ordering an indoor training bike. Took a couple of months to arrive.
Picked a beginnerís health plan on the app.
Got as far 3min 6sec on the first go. Had to get off. Thought I was going to die.
Did a bit better today.

Not sure if a diet coke and a pizza will help to replenish some of the essential life force that has been lost through the exercise. Will keep going. No pain, no gain and all that.

Keep up the good work as anything is better than nothing as we all get older. losing weight is a simple equation of eat less exercise more but discipline is the key and something many fail with

Frankly no idea, there is a hell of a lot behind this and a hell of a lot of other people implicated, Freeman  is just a handy and vulnerable scapegoat (I genuinely fear he will do something silly in the not too distant the extent he is being hung out to dry.

I really hate that Tiernan-Locke is the go-to source for rubbish cycling reporting.
I'm not linking it for you as he's bitter and come across as a nob.
https://www.cyclingnews.com/features/team-skys-zero-tolerance-policy-was-a-total-joke-says-former-rider/
He's still claiming not to be bitter, whilst doing a lot of swearing and throwing shit at others doors.

Freeman's involvement in UC/Team Sky is definitely problematic but going to this chap who clearly has an axe to grind and has broken cover against them and the establishment is gross.

TBF their zero tolerance system was obviously flawed, they employed JTL after he had doped to win the Tour of Britain.

I fear for Freeman and his mental health, and Sutton seems to have dodged the bullet again!
