I'd also look on car owner websites. The sale will obviously be private but more than likely you would get a well looked after car.

Bought the Mrs a car last weekend from Allan Ford picked it up weekend just gone, half the things we agreed for them to do when we agreed to buy the car they didn't do, like for e.g a tank of fuel they tried to give us 1/2 so we sent the salesman out to fill it up

Then when we got home we realised there was other bits they had not done so took it back sat morning, the salesman was not there so asked for the manager but he decided he didnt want to dea lwiht us so got a different salesman to deal with us gave them a list of what they should have done and told them we would pick it up 2.5 hours later, they did do it all by the time we got back.

Goes to show even the main dealers are useless
