Greg James raises a chuckle, everyone else annoys me. Steve Wright is a Dick, so I end up listening to 5Live and Richard Bacon (who Is also a dIck, kisses the arse of everyone he interviews and repeats everything he says as if the listeners are retards.) Simon Mayo is my saviour at 5pm...

Agreed.
Radio 1 is shite these days anyway, Zane Lowe is another one who needs gassing

Strangely, Zane Lowe is the only thing I'll put radio 1 on for (if I'm in the car at that time!)

What your point?

You said 7.1 million people care about Moyles. Evans gets more listeners, so they don't care.

Evans gets 9.2 million listeners every day so your point is valid.

The point to consider though is R1 breakfast show is targeted at the under 30's and R2 breakfast aims for the over 30's. I've been listening to Moyles for the past 6 years but at the age of 39 I guess it's time for me to head over to R2.

Exactly what it's all about. Target audience. I struggle to listen to R1 (daytime) these days due to the music bring completely shite. Scott mills show is quite funny when he has Becky and Chris helping him out, but that's about it for me.

Shrug

Who cares?

What is the point in posts like this?!

As for moyles, good riddance I say...how he lasted 8 years is beyond me.
In that time has managed to reduce the breakfast show from a previous high with Evans, to what I wouldnow consider the lowest common denominator of entertainment...

Although also in that time I have slipped from the R1 demographic to the R2/6 one..so maybe its me.

That's a massive step down, even from Moyles (who I didn't mind on occasion). Nick Grimshaw is a complete tool.

Exactly the same for me too.  First time for R2 for me.

I liked Mark and Lard.

I haven't listened to radio in ages though. Mainly because of the general stuff which passes off as music nowadays.

6 music is supposed to be decent though.

I am 30 and used to listen religiously to the Moyles show about 4/5 years ago.

Then got bored of the constantly recycled shit he came up with show after show.
