I don't think he is.
Nope. He's made 9 appearances in the last 3 years for Rangers and Sheff Utd, including 3 so far this season.

Matej Kovar playing for Czech U21s against England  just about to start on Sky Sports. Czechs have yet to concede a goal in qualifiers! 🤨

Edit - England 2-0 up after 11 minutes. Kovar blameless for first but palmed shot out straight to an England player for the second.

Conceded 3 in the end and looked a quite poor for the 3rd goal too easily beaten low and close to him after some terrible defending by the Czechs. Should have conceded another after totally missing a cross and the striker missing an open goal from that from about 5 yards out.

Jojo Wollacott only conceded a single goal for Ghana in their 1-1 draw with Ethiopia, he could do nothing about the goal he conceded to a powerful shot from 12 yards out.

Here’s a poser.

If the WC was being held this year - well, now actually - and the Prem and Championship leagues suspended as they will be next year, what would have happened to us regarding losing players i.e Wollacott, Grant and Williams if their respective countries have qualified?

Play on regardless?

I’d imagine so, I think Angus said recently that clubs are still waiting to find out concrete plans for next season from the EFL

Next season for PL and Champ

Been announced today that next season will start on 6th August. Because of the World Cup in Qatar, the season will have a break starting 14th November. The league will then restart on 26th December and finish on May28th.

Be interesting to see how they fit the champ games in, seeing as they play 8 more than the PL

I strongly suspect that FIFA and the PL won't give a shit about that!

I wonder whether it will be like it was when I played Sunday league and you had a particularly crap winter with loads of postponements, the spring will have weeks of playing Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday!

Do Sky have any broadcast rights for the WC? If not, the EFL rump of L1/2 could be in line for some live games.
