We've had better designs pre Adidas than this. I think I just like a plain red shirt with white trim (that's trim, not blocks of white), white shorts and red socks. Obviously that won't happen anytime soon, as each seasons kit has to be significantly different to entice fans to buy it. If we do ok next season I'll grow to like, if we do shit I'll hate it.

I really don't get why they have to keep changing all 3 every season - it can't generate that much extra revenue for the club.

I doubt having a home and change shirt for a few seasons with a new away shirt every year would result in that much less.

I only buy them if they're cheap or really good. Only ones I've paid full price for are the red and black ones posted above. A plain red Adidas shirt with just the three white stripes is the coolest shirt in the world. Fact.

Totally agree but at a guess, I'd guess it's just something that's part of adidas' standard package - you will have 3 new shirts every season, they will be from the following possible templates available to clubs in your band, they will be sold within this price range.

On another note, don't get the bile for the lady who runs the club shop. I go in a few times a season, mainly buying kit for the kids, and I've always found her (and in fact all the staff) very pleasant and helpful. They even smile when I bang on about the cost of kids' shirts/shorts etc (even though I'm sure they've heard it all umpty-nine times already that week and it's probably not within their power to change it anyway).

I think these are the cheaper shirts on the team wear package from adidas. It's not great, but after the last two home kits we were due a bad one.

That bird in the club shop should pull her finger out, I got the impression she was delighted we didn't make it to Wembley so she could have a quiet life.

Plus, they never update the stuff on the shop website, although she posts new stuff on her twitter feed.

How come she gets to choose the kit?Huh?

It's grown on me, it's different. The angles are retro.

Of course it does. They will make a fucking fortune. Plenty of people by a new shirt every season and the club usually sell out by the end of it.
