It's customary to do the grabbing bit first, more acceptable that way.

I cant see how it can go to court though - the police can say pay up or you do not get your safety certificate, what has Scally & Co got to argue about if they do not organise this at the start of the season like most other clubs
It isn't the police who issue the safety certificate it is the local council.

And at the moment Medway council won't issue the certificate because the police have given them information to say they need extra police inside the ground but Scally won't pay for them. Think that's about right so hoping Scally pays up to resolve this fiasco.

Apparently we've got around 1400 so far. Don't know if we'll get any more.

Surely if they give us more it will contribute to the additional policing costs.

Yes, but an extra 1000 tickets at an average of, say, £16 will more than cover the added policing costs.

What is? There is no legal dispute. Jills won't pay what it costs.

The guy in the ticket office also told me that he cant see the court backing up scally, so in his opinion it will end up behind closed doors. Does anyone remember the "12th man Flag" and who owns it? - if fans are allowed, could be a good one to bring to

Interesting. Who is taking who to high court? Gills v Plod. FL v Gills. STFC v Gills. Council v Gills? There must be a way to find out?
