If Ritchie leaves this summer for a lot of money after helping us out of this shithole division and we sign Holmes as his replacement, I'd say that was decent business.
Ritchie will have stayed and done his bit where others left us, so fair play. His talents are destined for a brighter stage (Championship I'd say).
Don't get me wrong if he stays and we signed Holmes I'd be delighted, but it would be good business otherwise. This squad will need strengthening and if we were to get a mill+ for ritchie, and sign Lee Holmes, then I wouldn't lose any sleep.

Even if we do go up, it should come as no surprise to anyone if Matt decided to move in the summer. There will be a host (probably) of Championship level clubs bidding for his services, all of which (probably) will be able to offer him better terms than us. I'm sure he does love it here, but he has his own future and career aspirations to think of as well. I'd love him to stay - but if he doesn't, we'll replace and move forward...as we have on many occasions before.
Not too sure about that. He was arguably at his best for us in the first half of the season yet the only club that made a bid in January were Bournemouth. I think he's been great for us this season and will probably be decent in League 1 next season, but The Championship may well be a step too far. I know it's difficult sometimes, when your team is doing as well as we are, but we need to remember we are playing against League 2 sides and that's who Ritchie et al are shining against.

As far as I am concerned he has screwed us. His Yellow player interview shows him saying how much he wants to stay and see us go up and then he does this. I don't care what his reasons are; I now absolutely despise him. There you go

Agreed, but Huddersfield, Wigan, Brizzle Shitty etc etc. There's no doubt in my mind Ritchie and Caddis could play in the Championship.

It might be a valid point. But at the start of the season, do you think PDC pre-season objectives were to beat Oxford or get us promoted?
At the end of the day we have lost to them twice, but top the league by a large margin. They really are clinging on to flimsy glories in a futile attempt of oneupmanship.
Spot on. Losing against Oxford hurt but this will be forgotten about if we go up and have another decent season next year...........Just gets better and better.

There you go Recent history suggets that Oxford fans don't like waiting to see if a player actually chooses Swindon over Oxford.

I am led to believe he's been at the club today and met the players. Not that, that is official or concrete proof.

How many times do lower league players excel against higher placed opposition in cup competitions? One off games are exactly that. Doing it at a higher level consistently is a different matter. I'd agree with you about Caddis though, out of all our players, I'd say that he has the best chance of playing at Championship level/higher regularly and successfully (Possibly Bodin but too soon to tell).
