People were buying Jack Nicholas Scottish 5 pound notes on there which were issued recently because of the open. They've been going for up to 20 pounds! Or you can go to the Royal Bank of Scotland website and pay 5 pounds for one!  People get carried away on e-bay, good if you're a seller though.

A mate of mine sells cars on ebay.

He goes to the auctions to pick up cars about 4-5 years old for 1-2 grand less than the list price, spends about a couple of hundred quid smartening them up (full valet, fix any dinks on the bodywork etc..) and hasn't made a loss yet. Nice little earner by all accounts.
