well they announced three thousand odd and a lot of swindon fans gave it the ironic cheer as if to say '3000, fucking tinpot outfit' what a total lack of respect.

Burton worked their ass off to get into the league and are a small club, three thousand odd is brilliant for them.

a crowd of 8000 for us is decent but if a prem club came and took the piss out of us for that the same supporters giving it the big one today would be in fits.

it was just the icing on the cake for me today from a section of our fans that we could do without

I was behind the goal...one woman was saying Ritchie was shit. Stupid bint.

Burton did well today. Most fans expected a win but was never going to be easy. They defended well, and when 2 nil up they killed the game. We weren't bad today, just not as good as we can be.

I think our fans don't understand football and that STFC chant thing- fuck off. It's shit.

just back.....excellent first half where we had 3 - 4 clear chances in first twenty minutes.
The Lanzano comedy goal killed us, we didnt seem to lift after that and we appeared to be sucked into their game plan second half.

Absolutely murdered them for 25 minutes they were chasing shadows, then as soon as they scored against the run of play we stopped doing all the good things.
Second half was awfull and I left with 5 to go,  I would say thepossesion was 60/40 in our favour very frustrating why was connel subbed? He was causing problems first half

Sums it all up for me. Was like when we beat Crewe at home first game of season. We dominated early on and looked sharp. Stung by a goal against run of play and never got going again. Kennedy is no set piece specialist and I was annoyed to see his overhit attempts time after time. We cannot be a longball team with such short technical players. Anxious we could end this season midtable. Will keep the faith.

The highlight of the day was their "Townend" ebing called the David Amott "King of Caravans stand" Bit of pikiness/tinpot there Cheesy. But did like the stadium and is how most stadiums should be, more terracing than seats.

I hope this is Fishing., if not then you need to Fucking grow up.

You may not have noticed, but football fans in general take the piss out of the opposition for any little thing.

I'm sure that if we had turned up with less than 100, the Burton fans would have delighted in informing us that our support is shit & questioning "Is that all you take away".

Now if you want something to moan about, talk about the racist twat, and the fact that too many of our fans like to have a pop at our players as soon as we are losing if/when they make a small mistake

We will lose for the following reasons:

1. We always lose when we are confident of a result.
2. We always lose to former non league teams.
3. We always lose on our first visit to a stadium.

2-1 Burton.
It happens every time.

We always do that away at the smaller teams. Bigger teams do it when they come to the CG. What's the problem?

This. Does my absolute head in. Anything less than perfect performances and winning every single game seems to be a catastrophe on a grand scale to some.

I understand emotions running high as you want your team to do well, but it's ridiculous to scream abuse at every little error, and it's counter productive.

Thankfully most of our fans are alright but unfortunatley it's the minority who often make themselves heard.

This.

I was halfway through writing a response then wondered about the fishing so I stopped. If this is true then I suggest you go and watch bowls. I take the piss out of the opposition fans tinpot or not and expect some back. I draw the line at racist, bigoted and sexist comments but as of now I don't think taking the piss out of a clubs support is illegal.

Its just banter Tom, all teams do it. We got jeers alot last season from the so called bigger teams, doesn't hurt, its just football.

I'm still very confident of promotion. Technically we've been better than all the teams we've faced this season and you could argue that the only game we've deserved to lose was the Shrewsbury game. And even there we battered them in the first half. Keep the faith, its a long old season.
