Question :
I play a game with a few mates, its a strategy/god game set in space. One person hosts, the rest do their moves and send the file in, the hosts processes and then sends out the new files and so on. (think mulitplayer email chess crossed with railroad tycoon crossed with Diplomacy/Risk in space).
Its a good laugh and very strategic and one of the benefits is that you can do your moves whenever you want.
However, the game does not run on anything past XP, so we need a new game - similar in style, mulitplayer, single host. Can anyone recommend anything ?

Medieval Total War II can be set up as a hotseat multiplayer game. If a player faction attacks another player faction then the real-time battle is controlled by the aggressor. Think there are about 25 playable factions so you could have up to 25 players.

Black Mesa came out on Friday. For anyone who isn't aware it is the original Half-Life entirely revamped in the source engine. And it is 100% free. I haven't played HL for years and it still shits me up! www.blackmesasource.com/

I've really got into Just Cause on the Xbox recently. Bought it cheap on eBay and had some time on my hands recently so had a little go. It's no Grand Theft Auto, but it's quite good.

I've managed to spend that long battling it out over a single planet.

F1 2012 is easily the best racer I've ever played.

Awesome, not bothered with an F1 game since 09 - I've always found them to be very much the same but with updated cars/drivers year upon year.
I'm also liking what I read/see/hear about WWE '13 but expect I'm the only one.

Your not the only one i am quite looking forward to this, as are my boys. Supposedly the career mode is going to be much better than it has been.

Centered around the 'Attitude Era' of wrestling rather than the current - which should make it better.
Bit different from Road to WrestleMania which for the most part has always been a decent feature. Just annoying that the roster will be out of date before the game comes out - nothing more annoying than that!!!
