True, but not really a factor,  because last time we had no money yet still spent a lot, whereas this time we have some money, but probably wont spend wildly. This means we'll still be limited to the type of player, who'll play in Div 4, because to entice a better class of player would mean paying over them over the odds which wont happen.
But haven't we already enticed a better class of player already? Douglas, Prutton etc. They came here with track records at a higher standard.

Torquay United   2010-11      29   14

Not exactly prolific! Although the last season wasn't bad

Douglas and Prutton came here with a track record of failure and dropping down the leagues.

I hope we storm it as champions and DV misses out watching our most exciting season in years.

I should've learnt by now, been let down so many times, but I've got a positive vibe about next season.
Anything less than Champions by March will be disappointing. Average goals scored per game= 5.
Average goals conceded= 0.333. Points total= 130.

Am I really asking too much?

You prove my point though....if you consider Prutton and Douglas a better class, then that's why they've fucked off or will fuck off pronto.

It will be difficult for di Canio to get players of quality....not saying impossible just difficult.

As a newbie to the management game...it would have been good for him to come into a settled outfit with a number of decent players available....unfortunately he comes into a train wreck of a side, with only a handful of players possibly up to the job.

Realistically his first job should be to see if we can get a side that can win a few home games, maybe 1 in 2 rather than going club record times of non winning runs.
