Why? Apart from proper legends, it's all part of the football culture to give old boys a ribbing.
I did mean Ipswich fans - they got on Sammy's back when he wasn't hitting the back of the net within a couple of matches. I'm happy for Charlie to get as much shit as our fans want to give him if he returns to play at the CG for the opposition.

Actually on second thoughts, maybe I should have put I wonder rather than I hope, as I don't hold Charlie in much regard after his antics recently, unlike Sammy.

Yes, and that's obviously why he hit the bar at the end of the game.

Expains why he missed the penalty... Not sure what that means, but fact is, I don't think I've ever seen Charlie take a good penalty. He always puts it too close to the keeper, and by the law of averages this was always going to happen sooner rather than later. [/conspiracy theory]

Looks like Ipswich mean business - They've just signed Jimmy Bullard on loan.

Logic...what`s that got to do with anything...distraction`s the name of the game..Charlie has not really been !00% for a number of games and you need a clear head to take a penalty

What happened to Tresor Kandol, did he get signed up by someone in the end?
According to Wikipedia, he plays for Albacete Balompié in the Spanish Second Division

What's happened to the John Campbell bloke? All's gone quiet on that front. The same goes for the other non-league dude we've been linked with, who was not a 'top 5 priority'. I forget his name...
