Good Luck Charlie, thanks for the goals and the memories. I hope unlike many before you, post STFC your career follows an upward curve (as much for the add ons we could get as much as anything)! It's a shame that our final memories will be the unfortunute way this issue has been played out over the last few weeks!

One last thgought tho'. If he decides he wants to go to Ipswich, (having been given permission to speak to them) could he go there despite a better bid from some one else or can we tell him their bid is no longer enough
Once we've accepted the offer, thats it. We can't then turn around and say that we no longer accept the offer. We could accept an offer from another club, and presuming Charlie hadn't already signed for Ipswich, he could go talk to the other club too, but thats entirely up to him. |

It's the only bid we've accepted thats why.
Blackpool, Saints and Burnley obviously didn't offer enough so he wasn't given permission to talk to them !
I'll think you'll find that Charlie and his agent have most probably been talking to a few clubs lately regarding wages etc. regardless of whether Swindon have accepted their bid. They are just waiting for the clubs to agree a fee so then he's eligible to have a medical. I think with Ipswich it is probably the first time they have shown an interest and thats why Charlie is up there now talking to them. |
