Bad news has been officially renamed "Paul Mitchell"
"I'm sorry to tell you madam, I have some Paul Mitchell for you. Your husband is dead."

Jostien Flo apparently told people to kick Jan Agge during games, as he cannot stand it. Think this may have been the reason he was a slow starter.

I understand he was originally a midfielder anyway and if he performed that well for the Dons last season, I think he'd be worth a punt.

Out off all of the teams in this league, I would hope that our wages would have been higher than the dons.

God I hope not. Paul Mitchell was nothing more than average, but if he can play as a holding midfielder then I think it is worth a try.

Well if he is a right sided player, i don't see where the space in the team is for him. With Lapham and Jenkins at right back and Ricky Shakes (and possibly Igoe) in the right midfield spot, where does that leave Mitchell? Maybe King has decided that Jenkins is the solution to our lack of hard tackling in the centre of the park and Mitchell will be the replacement right back? Would be logical. What was Mitchel like when he was with us? What were his strengths and weaknesses, etc.?

Come to think of it I think we may have been close to signing him this season. If I recall King and the player both mentioned that a permanent deal could be in the offing before Wigan recalled him.
Not a hope we can mach the deal on the table. Two years and I’d imagine more than we can offer salary wise.

Still can't see the wage budget being bigger than ours. 3500 ave attendance this year. Piss poor for this league

I have it on good authority that Mitchell signed at 11:00 this morning.
For the Dons.
