If true, this is a massive step forward for gay players. After the basketball player Jason Collins was the first actively-playing athlete to come out earlier this year, it seems the Americans are showing the way for other professional athletes. I couldn't give a shit if (or which) STFC players are gay, makes no odds to me, but I'd like to think someone over here would be brave enough to come out.
