Proposed to my other half on Captiva Island in Florida last night. For some unknown reason she said yes... that alongside Town being top of the table.. can't really get a better Saturday!

Congrats.

Congratulations Tails.

Do people still get engaged on the pitch at football these days? I always wondered why they'd put themselves through the inevitable abuse.

Congrats Tails.

I proposed in India, I never knew exactly where but I knew I wanted to do it sooner rather than later (as I was petrified of losing the ring!). When we checked into a hotel in Kerala by lake Kumarakan i knew that's where I was going to do it. So we went to dinner and I was shitting my pants the whole time knowing what I had in store.

I strolled out of the place, the plan to go down by the lake with our drinks etc only to step outside into monsoon conditions!! I ended up just doing it in the room. Luckily she said yes and it'll be 4 years married this year.

I wish you both the best

I think I was probably in the pub when I proposed to my misses. I suspect we were both very drunk at the time.

I'd been carrying the ring around for months waiting for the right moment. Eventually asked at 5 in the morning in an absolutely freezing Alpine cabin in Sestriere, after being impressed by her kindness and patience with my skiing attempts the previous day.

Good work tails, nothing like a bit of romance.

I proposed to my wife on a late night walk around Central Park, New York. Stopped by one of the lakes, the reflection of the moon on the shimmering water was stunning.

I proposed to Mrs. Costanza beside a quiet bit of the River Tyne with the bridges nicely positioned in the distance.

The exact spot was later used during a soppy segment (if the advert was anything to go by) of Geordie Shore...

Just out of interest (as an Ex Newcastle resident), where?
