Now, I’m not bothered one bit about inappropriate comments but I do wonder if everyone is fully up to speed with the meaning of certain phrases.

I was listening to Toby Tarrant on Radio X when he read out a tweet referring to him being a ‘chutney ferret’.

I thought that particular phrase was well known.

Oh yeah, Growler is a bloody good one. An old work colleague used to mention that one a fair bit. He also used this one on occasion;

Mandalay Flange...

Andrew Marr, trying to sabotage Aaron Banks on behalf of the BBC, the left, the right, the remainders and the establishment. And failing miserably. Banks had all his ducks in a row and Marr was clutching at straws.

Mr Banks was asked about a report in the Sunday Times that he would back Remain if the 2016 referendum were re-run.

He replied: 'What I said was that the corruption I have seen in British politics, the sewer that exists and the disgraceful behaviour of the Government over what they are doing with Brexit and how they are selling out, means that if I had my time again I think we would have been better to probably remain and not unleash these demons.'

So? There are many who voted remain that would now vote to leave. My response again is, so?

He really doesn't understand how unintentionally funny that is does he, self awareness is seemingly something that is never taught at private school.....

Here's something which I wonder if anyone else gets?

Recently I've lost a few things, when I've been pretty certain they must be somewhere around the house, so a look in the likely places has shown up nothing.  I've developed a theory, that if you look you don't find, so best not to look and the thing will turn up, at a later point.

So back in September, I thought I might have lost an old map... I had been out walking with it, but was pretty confident I hadn't dropped it out the rucksack. Look through all the shelves with maps on, there's quite a few, and nothing. Repeat a few days later, and still nothing, give it a week... still nothing. Yesterday, when looking for another map, said map is just sat there on the shelf, where I hadn't seen it before  Smiley

I think it must be quantum thing, the map only exists when I'm observing it, and I only observe it when not looking for it.

Reg, Mrs B says I could lose a pint of milk in an empty fridge.

Always been like that. Including silly things like looking for my glasses (pushed up on head) and phone (holding in other hand).
