it was buck fizz I think. I'll have to check : :embarassed:

I'm at the Neds/Wonder Stuff at Bristol. Don't mind Hunt, but I'm a bit of a Stuffie so somewhat biased. I'll be sure to buy a bead necklace

Conversely never got into the Neds, so will have to get Spotify going a bit.

To be fair I did see the Stuffies a couple of times late on (construction for the modern idiot era) as I was seeing a lass who was well into them and thus it was in my interest to accompany her.

I still listen to Neds a lot (sadly music never really got beyond 1997 in my world) but I am going to need a Wonder Stuff refresher course 😂

Poor lass better never venture north of Birmingham...

It still amuses me up here when lasses considerably younger than me call me duck, love or darling when serving me in shops.

In fairness, the response from the Virgin Twitter account is pretty dreadful. You could probably argue that the original comment looks harmless written down (although the context supplied makes it sound less than ideal) but if you're going to do online "customer service" (and lots of brands are very, very good at responding to complaints on Twitter) then you can't be doing that.

Especially not on a day where you've just whacked up fares and all.
