I suspect Mr Slowthai won't be overly distressed by that. I'm guessing you're not in his core target demographic Smiley

So basically £12. Gulp - literally. I'd say £8 would've been "fair" but that's just taking the piss. While drinking it too Wink

The joys of NYC. Expensive but worth it.

My entry today is this!

I don't understand the love affair with New York. Big, dirty, crowded, expensive city with awful traffic and people with awful attitudes.

The people are awesome!

Amazing food, bars, sports, museums, shopping all in a massively concentrated area, with great countryside easily accessible. It's ace.

I preferred Chicago personally but I did enjoy NYC.

I’d also say it’s not really that big just compact. It’s also not dirty compared to London for example, probably better traffic as well

That is only Manhattan. People think Manhattan is New York but it's not. Greenpoint, Queens, and Brooklyn are much nice with friendlier people.

Having been to quite a few places in the States I would say that Boston, San Francisco, Chicago and NYC are well worth a visit. San Diego and Seattle were a bit 'meh'. Vegas is fun of course.

Going to New Orleans in December which I am looking forward to.

Sorry, this is all a bit 'holiday' thread!

Pop up to Amsterdam Ave around 80th Street plus and you can find some student bars that have happy hours and fairly decent prices for NYC.

New Orleans is utter madness - Blackpool, meets Paris, meets Miami.  Very enjoyable, gave my 10 year old some sights he won't forget for a few years.
