Bloody technology!

As I have wittered on about in the past, I work from home in an office in the garden with the computer connecting to the Wi-Fi and a Voip phone connected by Broadband extenders - it used to be hardwired by Ethernet but a power spike in the summer seems to have wrecked that connection and I really don't want to have to dig the garden up again to lay another cable.

So far this week, we had a power cut which seems to have buggered the broadband extenders so the phone doesn't work, not the end of the world I can just use my mobile, however this morning my mobile has had a complete melt down needing a full factory reset (which is on-going) so that's fucked too!

Hmmmmmmm.

It'll be much better when it's all run by the state and free.

Do you have Netflix/Amazon Prime at all.

If no, you could get Amazon Prime, (I think they do a monthly trial for free - then you cancel the £7.99 monthly fee after that) get the APP on your TV and there is a plethora of tv programmes/movies etc that should help cure your boredom.

Amazon are showing all of the Live Premiership games this week and around Boxing Day so could be good timing for you.

When I was out of work 3 years ago I was lucky that it was during spring/summer and spent 2 hours a day going for walks listening to music/podcasts. There was no way I could watch Daytime TV days on end!

There are plenty of things you can do, albeit some of them might make you go blind?
