Are you an emotional person?

I’ve found as I’ve got older the more emotional I’ve got. Don’t understand it. Is it an age thing?

Sometimes I feel like I could burst into tears at the drop of a hat.

Boo, fucking, hoo!
Having kids changed me. I used to have a heart of stone, but now, a sob story on x-factor could get me going. (i don't watch x-factor, just used as an example)

Yep agreed. Always been a emotional but having kids changed my perspective of things as a whole. I tend to avoid stuff like Children in Need or the like, yes it annoys me but I'd be crying.

I hate seeing kids in wheelchairs, or with some debilitating illness - I often think how would I cope.

I may have got some grit in my eye yesterday watching our lass sing (see earlier post)!

However, as is the norm at the start the lass running it went through the normal request that people not take photo's or film due to safeguarding and the fact that not all parents want pictures of their kids taken or splashed all over the place. Lights go down and immediately a plethora of screens light up round the theatre as various parents start filming, the kids don't have a chance....

It annoys me. Why can't anyone just sit and watch a kids play or concert, enjoy it and treasure the memories? You know, like we used to before the advent of mobile phones.

Not on camera/social media = didn't happen for a large proportion of people.

My kids' nativity play last Christmas was basically a group of school children performing to a wall of people thrusting mobile phones at them.

I do like it up that way, the bit after you get past Preston and Blackburn.

Don't get me started on people that can't seem to do anything without their mobile phones in their hands.

I nearly walked into someone today on the way to the office who was walking along the road having a facetime conversation.

I deliberately walk straight at people doing this and then stand there so they have to walk around me.

People who have phone conversations whilst having a piss annoy me. Its always good when you have a massive fart on hand - and then they look at you like you're in the wrong.

This isn't going to change any time soon, so not really worth getting wound up about it.... as a smart phone refusenik, I'm just grateful to have spent most of my life before their existence.

Don't you think they might notice that you're not a dog?
