They may well have done a better job today than the middle order we had.

Samit Patel, playing cricket for England against India. Crazy
As ridiculous as Lukas Podolski playing for us against Poland.
And Klose and Sinkiewicz. Mind you given Olasidebe (sp) played for Poland, I guess it evens out.

Jamie Oliver. I used to really like him but now he's started to annoy me. Kids are fat. Get over it.

People turning up to Swindon games wearing Arsenal, or any other clubs merchandise.

My initial reaction was - "This, in spades", but thinking it through I have taken loads of mates who support other teams to watch Swindon, and they wear their teams' strips. Several have gone on to follow STFC, with a couple even now having season tickets.

This crewe fan i met on the train after we played them this season, on the way home. He was just some middle aged bloke trying to give me a lesson on "real football" he told me how mad the crewe fans were, and how there was an organised fight in wickes car park when they played port vale last season, in which 3 people got stabbed. He kept chuckling to himself and muttering, "come up west street when your lot come up to crewe, we'll show you how to fight". I didnt realise that crewe were such a "hard" club, correct me if i am wrong. Obviously the bloke seems a bit of a twat, but the worst thing was that he had a 6 or 7 year old kid sat by him, his son. What kind of tosser would be bragging about murdering vale fans in front of his own kid? Cunt. Been waiting to get this one off my chest for a while.

I'm with wiggy on this. As long as they get in to the game, they can wear what they like. The Premiership is going to shed a lot of fans in the next few years as it disappears up its own arsehole in search of Far Eastern revenues. We need to be there, ready to gather up the disenchanted when that happens. Ideally, they'll be swapping their Arsenal shirts for a superior shade of red in time.

Points West showing Ritchie's goal as the only highlight in our game. I know we've always been largely ignored by them, but surely they can't keep on like that?

They appear to have made a decision to cut down on all the footy action during the sports section and point you to the web site highlights. The Monday night program this week had almost no football action.

One of mine cropped up today. When someone dies, in a non-traffic related way, the media describe their alcohol levels in terms of the drink drive limits. For example Amy Winehouse died at '5 times the drink driving limit'. To me this is a complete irrelevance. So what if she'd had a few drinks, and 5 times over? That's nothing. I bet the majority of drinkers on here are a hell of a lot more over the limit than that on a Saturday night.
Another one of mine, which isn't related, is when people pluralise football clubs or players in conversation. Instead of saying, something like 'you've got to raise your game against the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal' pundits say 'against your Liverpools, Man Utds, Arsenals', I absolutely hate that.

And Klose and Sinkiewicz. Mind you given Olasidebe (sp) played for Poland, I guess it evens out. The difference being Olisadebe had no polish roots whatsoever. Klose, Podolski, Sinkiewicz, Borowski to name a few, were all born from at least 1 polish Parent. Olisadebe just lived and played there, same a Roger Guererro.
