I clean my own car, it's cheap, does a good job and I can only blame myself if there's a balls up.
i agree, dont understand some people who sit on a wall miles from anywhere watching others clean it for you

I would clean my own, but I don't have a driveway and my house is a good 30 metres from where I park the car.

I'm very particular about washing my car. I will never use a car wash because of the damage they do to your paintwork. Similarly with the guys in the supermarket car parks, they re-use the same dirty grit-filled water to wash every car with the same effect on your paintwork.
Spot on.

Do you have a pressure washer? If so, get yourself a snow foam lance and some snow foam cleaner. It's a pre-wash andm akes the handwash bit far easier because the snow foam lifts nearly all of the dirt.

I was out cleaning my car on Sunday when a neighbour i dont like said the usual " when you've finished you can do mine " I was tempted to say ok and swap my pressure washer for a sand blaster, that would of wiped the smile off his face.
