Just in case anybody was wondering, I can confirm that getting chilli in one's eye is very unpleasant.

I can confirm this is true......I chopped up a chilli pepper last night. I wear contact lenses and it was a fucking nightmare putting them in this morning. Lesson learnt - wear rubber gloves when chopping chillies.....

Just wash your hands after you've chopped the chillies, no need to fuck about with rubber gloves.

I chop chillies all the time and never have a problem.

I feel your pain, I am lucky that my cancer is/was treated purely by surgery. I cant imagine how bad it is for you.

Remembered from the other thread. Welsh people referring to a roast dinner as a "cooked dinner." Do you not cook the rest of your food? Wth?

I was in Newport last week, a Greggs Steak Bake appears not to be called a Steak Bake in Wales, what's all that about?

Really, what do they call it? It is here. Mind you, don't mess about with Newport and their pasties. They sent a load of helicopters out when there was a theft from Greggs once.
