But the class thing has worked two ways throughout the case, imagine the absolute shoeing they would have got in much of the media if it was a working class/immigrant/Islamic family (delete as appropriate) who had left the kids home alone and gone out with their mates, but as they were middle class doctors they got a much lighter ride (at least at first).
That's exactly what I was getting at. |

The way media outlets seem to be unable to report Angela Wrightson's death without mentioning she was dependant on alcohol at least 3 times. She was a human being who was horrifically murdered. It's so crass.

I've never seen it linked to the case in any context no, usually just a prefix to her name as if that's all she ever was. Is it linked to the case though? (Serious question) in what capacity, or do you just mean the fact one could assume she was attacked because she was obviously vulnerable? |

From what I remember, they (and other local youths) also regarded her as a soft touch generally, due in part to her alcoholism, and her helpfulness/generosity were regularly abused by kids using her to buy booze, using her flat for taking drugs and nicking stuff off her. So, yes, it was a fairly important reason as to why she became a victim of their attack. |

So far today I have woken up with what feels like a tight hamstring, it's quite sore, stood barefoot on a lego brick, stood on a toy car causing me to do the splits and hurt my already hurting legs, poured boiling water on my hand, just a little, but it was boiling water, AND, knelt on one of these:  I think I might go back to bed, I should be safe there. |
