Fair play to the little lad, shame he's a Lids fan though.

I saw that a few weeks back, poor kid has been to hell and back so good to see he's doing well.

Seeing as he will be a mascot against us, maybe we should have whip round to get him something? Or maybe the club could do something? Not sure a signed Swindon shirt would go down too well though.

Certainly better than a Lids shirt...

FWIW, I think that's a cracking idea jonny. If we can think of something suitable, I'd be more than happy to chuck a tenner in.

True, he'd have both sides' shirts then. And he could burn it when he gets home if we win!

Sounds like a good idea. I'm not convinced a Swindon shirt would go down that well (though one signed by all the players that play on the day would be nice), so maybe ask them if there is anything we could get that the kid would want? There are contact details for the person that organised their collection here:

You want to sort it KoT?

I won't be going but put me down for a tenner.

Just a thought, but rather than putting our hands in our pockets, why don't we bring this to the clubs attention. Could be a massive publicity opportunity for the club and something that they might want to get on board with to demonstrate the family nature of the club - Might come at the right time following on from the flare incident.

I dont have any contacts, but just a thought like.

I think it seems like a bit of an empty publicity thing if you get the club do it. Much more fun if a group of fans do it off their own back.
