I saw Simon Ferry numerous times when he played for Celtic Under-19s, then the Reserves.
Roy Keane tipped him for great things, and he and Scott Cuthbert helped Scotland get to the European Under-19 final, where they lost 2-1 to Spain.
After two to three years of injuries, it's great to see the two lads doing well with you lads.
Comparisons?
Cuthbert reminds me of Billy McNeill. He's no Beckenbauer on the deck, but will win just about everything in the air. And score the odd goal or two.
Ferry? It's got to be Billy Bremner. Not the biggest, but the heart of a lion. And a lot of skill, too. I'm just surprised he hasn't scored more goals for you yet. Maybe he's keeping them for Leeds.    Grin

Paul Caddis is small, too. More Ashley Cole that Melchiot.    Wink
But he's a clever defender and is fantastic going forward from right back. Yup, a bit like Danny McGrain.

Yeah, I know you have plenty of other players at Swindon. There's McGovern, too (another ex-Celt). And Greer, who I first saw playing at Clyde a few years ago.
I have to admit I don't know too much about your English players, but the results have been fantastic.
I've been checking the match reports and catching the highlights.
Your keeper, Douglas and the two strikers, Paynter and Austin, are obviously doing great.
Honestly, Swindon is the first English result I look for these days.
Hopefully Danny Bhoy and his lads will keep it going. Good luck.  Banana

PS, Sorry about Hutchison.     Crying

I like being Celtic's feeder team. Shame Mowbray won't last much longer.
