Gillingham were a physical side, thought he got stuck in, linked up the play well and was getting forward more than usual.

Well he won plenty of 50/50s so you're talking bollocks. I would like to see both he and Douglas try a few more shots though.

Jeez...you still got a shed load of Christmas sherry you've been tucking into this evening? cos you really are talking out the back of your arse.
All that was missing from his performance today was a goal, and had the Pikey keeper not had a blinder he would have had a couple of goals to celebrate.
He put his shift in well and truly as he has done on other occasions too. He compliments Douglas really well and is an important part of what I think is the main reason for our improvement in the last season and that is at last a competitive and decent ball playing midfield !

Really Arriba?

I think Ferry has been superb for us. A real work horse that breaks up play and tracks back, gets all over the park. Though I agree he  is reluctant to shoot.

I guess opinions are like arseholes - everyone's got one.

I like Ferry as a player, I think he keeps it simple which is what we need.

I agree with Arriba, good player for this level, but hasn't got the attacking threat from midfield that we need. What he does, he does very well, and his effort can't be faulted. But there are still aspects missing from his game which will stop him from playing at higher level.

I dont think Ferry was at his best today but I think he has been a top quality signing over all.
