That link to the Leeds forum has provided me with invaluable entertainment over the last few days, well done to them for that!!
Did you have a look in the general discussion part? There was a thread on teachers with some interesting attitudes on display! Thankfully it was only a minority though.

Leeds arent a big club anymore, he says after the last 5 pages have all been about Leeds!!!
As for Douglas, I dont know why he left Leeds but if he was actually as good as some of you seem to think he wouldnt have been let go by Leeds or signed for us. Dont get me wrong probably already our best midfield by some distance but L1 standard and nothing more.
Best signing....since....ermm....Gordon Greer imo!?

i'm inclined to agree with DV on this. i'm happy he's signed as i don't think who we had prior to him were good enough to make the step from relegation flirting to hopefully getting to the top ten

Thing is though DV, this is the first time we've signed a midfielder of L1 standard for a while...Easton I'd say was L2 standard...Nalis obviously had been a class act in his time, but the legs had gone. I'd like to see a playmaker with the ability of Stefani Miglioranzi...who was by distance the best midfielder we've had this century.

I think you are being a bit harsh on Craig Easton. He was easily L1 standard under Sturrock and co.
Timlin has all the tools to be a very good midfielder at this level - I just dont think he's had the right partner next to him.
I still think we should re-sign Stefani Miglioranzi as he was actually fucking awesome.

Yes we are Rosie.
Can I just ask, why do alot of your fans have this superiority complex? Some of the comments on your forums do make me laugh.
"How can a little club like Swindon afford him"
''He lacks ambition going to Swindon"
"A lot"? Can I ask why you settle to think a few people on an internet forum with nothing better to do than mindlessly downgrade opposing teams classes "a lot" of opinions? Give me a break, your basing opinions of Leeds United on WACCOE, probably the most idiotic post i've seen in this thread. You've outplayed the likes of Gazza for stupidity here. Well done. This is typically close to the "Leeds United are just a bunch of hooligans" because we have a known set of fans who've caused violence in the past. However, what is the percentage of Leeds fans that do this? Very small. I'd say miniscule. You'd get the same percentage for the amount of people who believe we're too good for this league and that we are too good to even know about the likes of Swindon. Don't let yourselves be fooled by a small minority who's opinions happen to be read. That is very naive.

After last weekend I thought I had lost my ipod. It was the second one I have owned the first being one I lost in Amsterdam. Then yesterday I found it and I was relieved.
True story.
Fucking hell I need to get out of work.
