Barnsley set to sign Murphy Cooper on loan from QPR.
Stevenage were hoping to get him for another season. Big step up going from a tiny club like Stevenage (yes a team above us in the league) to Barnsley playing in front of over 3 times the average crowd.

Lived his later years and is buried in Tintinhull (Tintnull as the Yeovilites call it) only about 15 miles from where I live.

Not a player but Luke Williams now working at Bristol Airport.

Absolutely fair play to him.

I would welcome him back to Town as Academy manager, just nowhere near the first team.

I'd like to think, given his football education since leaving us, he would come back a more rounded coach, keen to improve on unfinished business.

But it won't happen because of what happened in the first spell. And I'm not sure his style of football would be the best way to get out of league 2.

Absolutely nowhere near the 1st team but he is proven at Academy level so with us losing all of our Academy staff who knows. If hes desperate for a low wage back in football it must be better than working at Bristol Airport.

He may well be volunteering. If so, good on him.

Proper Football

A shout out to ex Swansea City manager Luke Williams who is currently working at Bristol Airport helping disabled and limited-mobility passengers.
Luke Williams who left Swansea in February of this year, was previously in charge of Notts County and Swindon Town.
Sources say that he doesn’t need the job financially, but does it because he’d rather do something meaningful than sit at home. 👏🏻
Credit to the 44 year old. Refreshing to see this.
