I'm using all my santa good boy wishes for option 2. But as you do, suspect option 1 is the realistic outcome. I do feel more optimistic for next season. You'd better do it Wellens I'm getting old and would at least hope to see us higher than when I first put that fateful footstep through the turnstile, before I go...

Rest of the season? I hope it's just a month to get fit

a month would be brilliant. we have enough options in midfield at the moment and although on paper he should be a starter. a chance for fitness and form for us March onwards would be a big help

Can't believe how badly it's gone for Diagouraga since he's been here. Thought he'd be our standout for sure.

Disappointed if Toums does leave I think he adds strength and tackling in the defensive midfield position when fit, I guess hes on a large wage and if Wellens doesn't see a place for him then its best he leaves sooner rather than later.

As for Connor Ronan....it seems Walsall fans thought he had a talent but he so rarely showed it and was often missing in games and not even challenging for the ball.

From the Walsall forum...

Quote
Only saw him a couple of times, which must not have been his better turns for us, based on some of the comments above. He was neat and tidy enough, has no physical presence.

MOTM in the few minutes he played on Boxing Day, but that was a very low bar.

Just didnít work out but wouldnít shock me if he went elsewhere in league one and made an impact, did o.k at Pompey last season by all accounts.

Came on at Bradford and couldnít be bothered to chase after a ball.

He doesnít really fit the system but, based on what Iíve seen, Iím disappointed. He has some real quality.

He has quality and we donít seem to have made much use of his talents.

Good player in there but had no real impact.

Never fitted any of our systems really and there have been plenty.

Some Wolves fans think he will leave on a permanant transfer rather than a loan in this window.

Doesnít sound like Dave is leaving. Wellens saying he has a friendly against QPR lined up for Tuesday to help him with fitness.

Just to say I'm not itk. I just heard it from a Cheltenham fan who said that was the rumour at their end.
