Back early last season, I had the temerity to say that the flaw in Smith's game was ball retention, which probably accounted for why he ended up at Coleraine.

What you do with your testicles is up to you. If it leads you to Bann County...so be it.

I see the Thompson's were briefly (19 minutes) on opposing sides of the same pitch last night.

He might be quite good playing front of a defensive left back - we had him playing as a left back with no support, maybe not his thing.

Also, at his age he'll be developing quickly (if he has the talent).  Look at Alzate.

Good observation. He’s clearly playing further up the field if he’s already got eight goals. Perhaps we missed a trick - we could have used those last season.

Enquiries about his competency or they want to employ him?

Agree. The problem most fans have is they forget that most of these lads have no FL experience at all and we do not allow them the same luxury as our own home grown players. Look at Twine for example, absolute dogshit player imo but the fans will persevere with him despite probably playing more games than most loaness. The lad from fulham is a prime example, scored a few goals and Brown then played him left wing and the fans jumped on his back. I would imagine Twine has more minutes than him in pro football
