A few ex Town players getting on the scoresheet today.

Jutkiewicz for Birmingham, Robson-Kanu for WBA, Jackson for Ipswich, Smith for Northampton, Cuthbert for Stevenage and Adebayo for Walsall.

Romanski plays and Pryce comes off the bench for Melksham who beat higher league Basingstoke in the FA Trophy.

Cameron McGilp started for Hungerford Town vs Hampton in their home defeat.

Yep, they’re also struggling in Division 1 of the Southern league too. Their league win over Melksham a couple of weeks ago lifted them off the bottom of the table.
As you said, it’s some demise.

They're playing in Winchester as well. They had financial problems a few years ago and haven't gotten over it.

Billy Bodin gets a new contract at PNE after being out for the whole of last season with knee ligament injury.

Edit: Didn't realise PNE were currently 2nd in the Championship.

Presumably they're just going to wait there until it all blows over? Smiley

Rather tenuous link I know, but watching French football last night and Mathieu Dossevi brother of Thomas was turning out for Toulouse.

On checking he was related on Wiki, it transpires that their cousin is an international pole vaulter!

Looks like Wellens got that right as well!

Back early last season, I had the temerity to say that the flaw in Smith's game was ball retention, which probably accounted for why he ended up at Coleraine.  Got the cries of negativity and trolling from most of the usual suspects, even to the extent of "seeing as you're the only one who thinks it, you must be wrong"

Wellens himself was a sort of look after the ball midfielder, so was never likely to fancy MS.
