It is, an awful disease, I see Lenny Johnrose also has it and hes only 48, used to play for Bury and Blackburn was diagnosed last year.

As someone who has had first hand experience of the effects of this disease I really wish him all the best.

The road ahead of him is very hard for him & his family, it is a truly devastating disease Sad

Stephen Darby showed remarkable courage for one so young in that shoot out. A memory forever.  I can only wish him and his family serenity and still more courage in their journey together.

Probably the best place for it as it concerns and ex player....

I was watching a number of the highlights of our Premier League games earlier, bloody hell Hammond was a liability, did Digby get injured or something for Hammond to play so many games.....

I think Hoddle just preferred Hammond for some reason.

I will always remember Hammond for that game away ay West Ham. They battered us but got nothing. Barcelona would not have put one past him on that day, he played a blinder.
