I think he's underrated by the media and Johnny Armchairfan because he isn't flash. As far as style of football (and personality) he's boring as fuck. Every team needs them though - think he's a cracking team player. |

He really impressed me when he was here, i remember going away to Grimsby & he was kicked in the air every time he got the ball but he just got up & carried on like nothing was happening. Even the grimsby fans were impressed by him.

Shame we couldn't have got Cox off the books sooner, especially when Plymouth were so keen.
Good luck to the guy, I'll always wonder what Cox really did to irk Di Canio. Hopefully we'll find out soon once the Plymouth Herald do some kind of 'Cox: My Swindon Hell' feature.

Wasn't that true of a lot of the players he signed, hence why there were so many that played very few games & were then shipped out. (same is true of those signed at Sunderland). He was also good at signing players that had one good game against Swindon (Rooney & Collins). |
