should be in the England squad

How much does that bloke in Poole stand to make if he gets the call-up? £20k or something?

I was pissed off at him for the way he went about his transfer request, and the faking injury in his last game. But looking back its hard not to remember him in a good way. Quality striker and brought a lot of attention to our side in a time we were playing very well (well for 09/10 anyway).

Why would you be pissed at him for that?

Charlie played for us, did well, now he doesn't play for us.

I don't think of him particularly fondly, neither do I harbour any grudges. They come and they go - that's football.

It's how I think of the vast majority of ex Town players really.

I think the difference between Charlie and the likes of Parkin & Cox was the fact that he forced a move in January. Had he stayed until the end of the season and possibly kept us up I think everyone would have thought better of him.

At the end of the day that's football today, but he was still great for us while he was here & deserves a lot of respect.

Watching villa v spurs and mason playing well, one of spurs best players today. Only one who's really putting in a shift from their midfield and getting stuck in as well.

Incidentally got talking to someone who used to assist Slattery (physio) under Wise/Poyet. Was very complimentary about them and Paul Ince.

Mentioned also about Peter Thorne being a surfer now.

If he can keep up his current form for Spurs, reckon he'll get a run out for England within the next 2 years. What a turnaround in fortunes that would be.

Yeah not for long though I'd imagine, his contract is up in Jan and he hasn't done much bar miss a penalty and cause friction.
