Ooh good, very useful for Smeeton's 3rd Rule, namely that every game on the box should have an STFC link....either on pitch/bench...dug out....or com box/studio pundit.

Gordon Greer making his competitive debut for Scotland tonight. That 2010 season when some of us thought his legs had gone seems a long time ago.

Wondered what would have happened in a 'Sliding Doors' moment if we had kept Gordon Greer in 2010. Maybe not relegated in 2011, Andrew Fitton not walking away to be replaced by Jeremy Wray and blowing Andrew Black's millions (and goodwill) to get back to were we were in the summer of 2010. Might look at this as our Cantona sold to Man Utd transfer?

What if Greer had not been sent off v Charlton, and so been able to skipper us at Wembley....suppose we could ask DV.  Hmmm

We'd have not gone to three at the back in the semi final against Charlton and not scored our equaliser with 10 men therefore lost and not made it Wembley.

What if Wilson would handed played Derby instead of Amankwha who bottled it. And what if Paynter decided not to rest up because he was going to Leeds. And what if that bloody bobble hadn't happened..  Dv?

Some things are meant to happen. The bobble indirectly allows us to be in league one now, and enjoy the football we've now got as we march onto inevitable promotion.

Bet there aren't many supporters who can remember a players last kick for a club like we can.

Paynter was shit throughout the playoffs.. and the last few games of the season really, but you can't leave your top scorer out! Should probably have played Austin & Ward up top but Millwall were a solid outfit and probably would have beaten us anyway!

Unless we'd been awarded the nailed-on penalty when Amankwaah was hacked down near the end. Nobody ever refers to that, mainly I suppose because we didn't think we deserved to win.

I can't even remember it!

The only footage I can find of it is at 8:20 on this. I was a lot closer and in line with the incident, and it looked pretty clear-cut. But meh.
