I imagine Smith was just on the brink of signing the contract, had his pen ready but just logged on the adver forum saw one of lifetime red's topics and thought fuck me this guys a twat, I'm not staying here he'll probably start abusing me the first time I mess up.

There's a wage cap now. As turnover is down we have to slash wages anyway, although I can't be arsed to check our wage bill

Our wage bill was already one of the smaller in the Div, and well inside the planned parameters of the wage cap.....so its never been an issue for us.
