It maybe uncommon, but come on, other countries have more and they don't come to a stand still.
Because they pay extra taxes to go towards the provision of snow-related services. Given the climate here, proposing tax hikes to improve infrastructure in snow would be an election loser for anbybody |

Central London is practically deserted.
Some of my mated are organising a big snowball fight in Holborn. I'm tempted to try the tube and see if I can get there. Will be quite amusing to see the centre empty! |
