She is a drug cheat, People were up in arms over Dwain Chambers and now they are congratulating some one who did the same thing, mental.

Did she fail a drugs test then?  Wasn't aware of that.

Anyways if you put our medal haul into the 2004 event, as it stands we'd finish around 5th (Japan would be above us on silvers won), that's a vast improvement on our 10th place finish last time around!

She was banned for a year for not turning up for three tests, so probably a drug cheat, why else would you miss three.
But not proven.

no, she missed three out-of-competition tests. not quite the same as chambers, who tested positive for an entire pharmacy

She missed 3 out of season tests, was banned by the British Athletics Federation from competing in future Olympics,She appealed against this and stated that if it was not over turned she would leave Britain and compete for another nation. Draw your own conclusions from this.Missing 3 tests is not an accident.

Very true Sonic, but what are the odds that she would have failed? and why did she miss 3 tests?

Oh she did a Rio!!!  Fair enough, well we all make mistakes.

I still think drugs should be allowed, would be great to see how fast a human could run on steroids, or maybe have the same events like 100m, but 100m on heroin, then 100m on grass, a cocaine fuelled 100m, that sort of thing.

Imagine a high jump where all the competitors have taken LSD.

They would all think they went clear though wouldn't they!!

i haven't a clue, so i'm not going to bother speculating. i think it's fairly safe to say she's clean now and won without any illegal substances.

listening to 5live earlier, darren campbell (i think) explained the reason behind her missing the tests - she had to train somewhere other than her usual track. sounds like a rather pathetic excuse but frankly i don't care that much...
