Cycling does seem to be a forté of GB.  Glad to hear Sky getting involved and a GB le tour team would generate a lot of interest.

I was watching the bbc coverage this morning and they started interviewing the fitness coach of the gb team, thought I recognise him, turns out to be Daniel Hunt, a Caln-ite, who I went to primary school with.  Great to see him do well for himself!!

The British team as a whole have built on their strengths (sailing, rowing, cycling) and picked up to certain extents unexpected golds some in other events, which has put them in a strong position

After spending a few days taking the piss out of the ridiculous piece of apparatus that is the Pommel horse. Including pondering trying to set up a pub pommel horse team. I was pleasantly surprised to find out Britain had managed a medal on it.

Go pommel horse.

Yeah that was the one I saw. It was earlier on. First gymnastic medal for 80 years or something.

paula radcliffe just call it a day now love.and put some weight on for fucks sake.
the mens 100 metre final was unbelievable.the bloke breaks a world record and is celebrating with a fair few metres still to go.if he'd carried on till the end, fuck knows how much he would have chopped off the record?
the commentator going all squeekie on the 4 man rowing final was funny too

Or, as Mock the Week put it, sports where African men can't afford to take part.

We should make it to our best haul of golds since Antwerp 1920 tomorrow, chance that we'll have our best Olympics since 1908 according to the beeb.

I'm starting to look forward to London 2012 now!  I feel like a real glory supporter!  But I still say no to the GB footie team.
