He’ll stay at Barca, big game of chess with la liga. Messi is Barca’s and La Liga’s poster boy, you only need to read the words of the statement to see it’s to try and force them to drop the salary cap.

Well chuffed with Grant. Loved him last (proper) season. (Im just going to ignore last season, I never saw it so it didn't happen) He looked a class above most opposition midfielders in League 2.

I think I speak for most of us when I say that three weeks ago we were shit scared we wouldn't even have an 11 to put out. With AK, Grant, Gladwin et al we have more than the core of a team that might even challenge for Play-offs - or more, but let's manage expectations.
If we finish mid-table personally I will be delighted, considering looking back a month or so ago when Admin/end of the club was looking a serious outcome. From there we can build - in Clem we trust!
Looking forward to a frontman coming in - gotta say not convinced yet by Simpson, but hey - WTF - 2 weeks ago we couldn't sign the paper boy on Manc Road. And Simpson may prove to be the Rugby Pele,

Two names. One Town hero. Simon. Cox. #BringHimHome A better replacement than the PPP any day of the week. Even if a year older.

Doesn’t sound like we’re getting a striker any time soon according to Garner in the pre match presser
"We have several players that can play across the front line but it will be nice to spend a few weeks and then identify what we need.”
Unless he’s as good as misleading us as Wellens!

I think there are quite a few clubs on the hunt for those elusive strikers and those are the players you pay the big bucks to to make that statement. I know the fella Kabongo Tshimanga from Borehamwood is highly sought after with 9 football league clubs after him. 24 years old, quick and powerful and scored 1 in 2 in non-league. Ben Chorley will have done his homework and we'll definitely have new strikers in, but maybe closer to the window slamming shut.
