That’s what we were missing last season. Huge % of our goals scored from forward players.
I can only think of 1 Zeki goal and 1 Rob Hunt goal. We need a Bodin/Shaun Taylor defender!
REG grabbed one too!

Chris Martin released by Derby - probably not viable because of cost, but would be a great option for one of our 2 up front

Not sure he’s still good enough to cause defences trouble

Scored 12 goals and got 7 assists this season for Derby, would be out of our price bracket, too good for L1.

Even though he looked unfit and overweight when he came to us and didn't impress much but has scored 100 at championship level since then.

Thinks we are close with Grant, need 8 or 9 new bodies, trialists in next week, close to another new signing

Insists he can't get hold of Woolery and asking him to call him. Spoken to Danny Rose though, will depend on what happens with Grant

First friendly next Saturday against either a Prem Under 23 side or a National League side. Not allowed to play planned games against local non-league teams (due to Covid rules). First choice keeper likely to be a loanee again but hopes to sign someone experienced as back-up.

I guess Woolery has gone AWOL or was he not due back until next week?

Or Wellens is playing mindgames with Woolery/His agent/Us/Other clubs?

Sounds like Woolery has made his mind up and moving on and waiting for offers from elsewhere.

Either he’s showing a lack of respect and not telling the club/manager his intentions or hoping that the contract will be kept on the table so if no offers come in he can still sign.

I’d give him till end of business day Monday, if he hasn’t, or doesn’t, report back for pre season or actually speak to the club then take the contract off the table.
