Luke Williams seems to have a big say in bringing in players, and in fairness most of them have worked. Hope Barker kicks on this coming season. Would seem bizarre on a tight budget to sign another midfield player but i guess with Harley off it could make sense.

5ft 7 inch midfielder. Never broke through at Chelsea but still young.
Not totally sure if he's signed or on trial.

^^ Adver say he's close to signing.
As someone on the Adver pointed out, a really good way to get into Brenden Rogers good books by signing his son. Might give us the first pick of their talented younger players, especially as we attempt to play a somewhat similar possession based style.

So, just slightly different to the Tommy/Harry Agombar deal then!

Different in that Rodgers is a proper footballer and his Dad isn't a crook

That's a huge difference. Hopefully he'll be useful and if it gives us brownie points with daddy even better.

I know this is a bit out of the left field, buy maybe he's a decent player and it makes sense as he's not asking for a lot?!

My mate who's an Oldham fan had this to say about him... "He played in Swindon's game tonight, apparently has signed but club are saying he's only on trial. He's neat and tidy, was unlucky with injuries with us. Likes having a wank in the corner while his mate goes through some bird."

Also... Had injury problems with us. Capable of picking a pass, but was too lightweight. In league one. As mike says he is neat and tidy. He looked decent in pre season when he got more time on the ball.
Sounds like our kind of player

Anton Rodgers? Has he signed a short term loan deal from May to December?

They do love him but they have a budget smaller than your average Lidl shopper. I doubt they will sign anyone on even close to what he would want in wages. They are also under an umbongo currently.
