do you think we'll see any unexpected outs?

he could be brilliant. I don't mean anything else, but we are a bit overcrowded in midfield of everyone stays fit.
Only really Palmer and Smith plus the 3 that started if we continue to play 433 so I wouldn’t say we are overcrowded.

Danny Rose must be gone now as well.

2 more in. 6 plus Donohue to go, with at least 3 loans.

Four weeks out we're in better shape than normal.

I think we are shaping up very nicely.

Happy with the Smith signing. I know we have a few in the middle but with Lyden & Doughty we will need cover as I don't think they'll play lots of games together

I know its U23 and its a massive step up but he looks to have some skill, not sure if this video has been on here or not but he looks quite classy for a young un.

Likes to carry the ball forwards and has a shot and pass on him, is the number 4 in these clips.

A mate is an Arsenal fan and is surprised we got him in League One, as he's very highly rated by them.
I've been praising Wellens to him and our style of football, and he's toying with the idea of getting a season ticket Smiley

I’m getting a good feeling about the season. Good bluffing from RW to suggest Odimayo was a trial with potential for a loan. Baxter or Benda in goal, and that number 9, and I
might start to look forward to the Oxford game.

Agree thats likely to be the case, given the last minute deals that get done.

Pre season flatters Twine, you get more space and time on the ball. He hits shots a lot and, fair play a couple were very good today (goal and freekick). Not convinced its much more than that but we shall see.
Thought Twine did quite well today,  especially from dead balls,  thought he appeared a little light weight last season but certainly seems to be learning,  as said,  maybe a season out on loan but I'd be happy to see him given a few chances on the bench here before any loan decision was made.

Twine did do quite well, he can strike a ball with power and precision but he still gets pushed off the ball a bit easily.

He reminds me a lot of Billy Bodin when he first broke through at Swindon, he needs careful managing but there is a player in there.

So Wellens wants 6 more players.

2 x Goalkeepers
Woolery or a replacement
Isgrove or a replacement
Doyle replacement
Yates replacement

It’s going to be a busy few weeks.

Nixon:

Swindon. Keen to sign keeper Baxter from Chelsea on loan for season. Costly all the same. Need a favour.
